Manchester’s infrastructure is what keeps the city moving and growing. Mayor Craig has made historic investments in restoring our roads and sidewalks in order to make the Queen City truly walkable in every neighborhood. Mayor Craig brought the city’s infrastructure reporting system into the 21st century to connect residents with the city services that matter most.
Infrastructure
- Since 2018, has invested in 183 miles of street and sidewalk renovations across Manchester.
- Allocated $4.5 million for 43.8 miles of street upgrades in FY22 (See the 2021 Paving Plan)
- Created system with DPW to have any pothole reported on the Manchester Connect App be filled within 24 hours.
- Was the first Mayor to allocate $1 million to sidewalk improvements, utilizing the Sidewalk Conditions Assessment to prioritize repairs for city sidewalks, school sidewalks; making sidewalks ADA compliant, while continuing the 50/50 residential sidewalk replacement program.
