MANCHESTER, NH – Today, Joyce Craig officially filed to run for the office of Mayor with her family. Joyce released the following statement:
“I’m running for Mayor of Manchester to make our city a better place for all residents. The past couple of weeks have underscored the importance of competent leadership at City Hall.
We need a proactive mayor to address our challenges, support our schools, combat the opioid crisis, and move Manchester forward. Manchester has endless potential and I’m running for mayor to make sure we achieve all that is possible.”
Joyce just completed her ‘12 Wards in 12 Days’ listening tour where she heard from residents of all backgrounds about concerns ranging from the opioid crisis, to job prospects, the quality of schools, to street cleanups. Joyce is focused on reaching out to voters about her vision for the city of Manchester and about bringing new energy to City Hall.
Joyce Craig was born and raised in Manchester and is a graduate of Memorial High School and the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Business Administration. Joyce is a former alderman and school board member, businesswoman with experience managing multi-million dollar accounts, and a proud mom of three children who graduated or are in Manchester’s public schools. Joyce knows first-hand the challenges that Manchester residents face and that our city cannot reach its full potential without new leadership in City Hall.
