Craig Receives More Than 1,000 Individual Contributions To Date
Today, Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig announced that at of the end of the second quarter of 2019, her re-election campaign raised more than $300,000 in her bid for re-election from over 1,000 individual contributions.
“I’m grateful for the outpouring of support for our campaign,” said Mayor Joyce Craig. “Businesses and residents alike are seeing progress on the priorities that matter most to them and their strong support is reflected in this fundraising report. By working together, we can continue building a stronger Manchester and I look forward to continuing to engage with and listen to members of our community throughout the campaign.”
In the paperwork she filed with the City Clerk’s Office on Monday, Mayor Craig’s campaign reported that it raised $145,036.47 in the second quarter of 2019, bringing her total to $306,378.60 for this campaign cycle. This is the most any candidate for Mayor has raised by the end of the second quarter of an election year.
Mayor Craig will file for re-election on Monday, July 15th. Prior to her filing, Mayor Craig will host a “Day of Action” on Saturday, July 13th, beginning at 9:30 A.M. at her campaign headquarters at 264 Mammoth Road. The Mayor’s “Day of Action” will include volunteers knocking doors across the city to talk with residents about their ideas and issues that matter most to them.
