Mayor Joyce Craig Releases Statement Following Historic Voter Turnout in Manchester’s Primary Election

MANCHESTER — Tonight, Mayor Craig won a majority of the votes over two Republican candidates in Tuesday’s primary election. Additionally, voter turnout exceeded totals from 2019 across nearly all of Manchester’s 12 Wards. The results of Manchester’s primary election reflect broad and enthusiastic support of Mayor Craig’s record across geographic, demographic, and partisan lines. 

In response to tonight’s result, Mayor Craig released the following statement:

“I’m thankful for the enthusiastic support we saw today,” said Mayor Joyce Craig. “I’m incredibly proud of the work of our campaign, and grateful for the volunteers and everyone who came out and made their voices heard. Manchester is ready to continue its growth, and I will continue working to earn the support of Queen City residents on November 2nd.”
